Attorney After graduating from QU, I immediately went to Law School. I knew I was going to go to law school at 15, so it was not much of a decision, just a matter of studying and getting in somewhere. My senior year at QU was writing my thesis and studying for the LSAT and filling out applications to law school. Thankfully, I got in. I like that I achieved my goal—I am an attorney. My next goal is to do environmental litigation, but I still have a few more steps to get there. One thing that I learned or developed in myself while I was at Quinnipiac was self-confidence, but not just the regular self-confidence. I learned to have confidence in my knowledge and confidence in my ability to learn. This is what helped me get through law school and to start a career of thinking on my feet, reading people, and negotiating. My one piece of advice for current or prospective students is to make your time at QU count. Make it count by getting the most out of your classes that you can, learning from your professors and picking their brains, but don’t forget to have fun! |
